It was published in the locally released “Weddings” magazine distributed by the Springfield Republican. I’m told it can also be found at pastry shops, florists, and bridal boutiques in the area.

I started the day with Marty and his family at the Simsbury Inn followed by photographing Sue getting ready at their house in South Windsor. From there it was a short trip down the road to St. Margaret Mary’s Church for the ceremony and formals, and finally back to the Simsbury Inn for the reception. Here are some photos from their day…

In between a charted school bus transported Zach and his friends from one location to the other. Here are some photos from that night…

Three generations of hands, Zach with his father and grandfather, holding the yad, or pointer, over the torah. The sun began to set, leaving behind an amazing sky, as the service continued inside. The Bar Mitzvah service ended with blessings by candlelight. A bus transported Zach and his friends from the temple to the party well after sundown. The party had a casino theme that went on throughout the night. The DJs and Zach starting up the party. DJ Essense getting Zach involved with the party. Both grad students at UMass-Amherst, they wanted to incorporate some of the cool scenery on campus into their day, so we budgeted some time to walk across UMass and visit some locations they’d picked out for portraits. We then made our way to the Night Kitchen in Montague for the ceremony and reception. Here are some photos from the day… Brad arrives at the Courtyard Marriott in Hadley to meet up with some family and prepare for the day. Heading up to the room, a little excited and a little nervous. Brad getting some help from his Mom with the ironing. Brad's brother helped him get the tie just right. Meanwhile, back at UMass, Paul's sister helped him with his own wedding prep. More attempts at tie tying. A bit more fiddling with the tie. And at last, the perfectly tied tie. Beginning our walk across campus. A few of the portraits we made while walking through the UMass campus. An emotional moment before the ceremony. The ceremony was held beneath a tent set up on the deck outside the Night Kitchen. I arrived at Jennifer’s Mom’s house at the same time she did, and it was just the two of us for a while until her bridesmaids started arriving. I then drove to the nearby All Saints Church in South Hadley to meet up with Nathan and the guys before the ceremony. Later we all moved on to Chez Josef in Agawam for a great reception with their friends and family. Here are some photos from throughout the day…

Jennifer, alone in the house, chatted on the phone waiting for her bridesmaids to arrive. Helping Dad straighten his bowtie. Hanging out at the house with the bridesmaids.
